Gray Wolf

Portland, Oregon Free range cattle farming and hunting for sport on public lands once killed off the entirety of wolves in Oregon. Today wolves are coming back to Cascadia. There are an estimated 124 of them. However, they are being illegally poached by farmers who often over hunt public lands, (often hide their poaching), and inevitably leave cows as a target for the hungry wolf.
